The above senior level position exists with our client a large government organization involved in turnkey projects all over the UAE. The ideal candidate will be an Accounts/Finance professional preferably a CA/CPA/CMA with a career profile of 10-15 years of which at least 4 years should have been in a managerial position. He will have thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, principles and procedures and be exposed to project accounting and feasibility studies.
Reporting to the Project Company’s GM, he will supervise the project accounts/finance and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. His responsibilities will include liaising with auditors; interfacing with financial institutions; preparing monthly management reports, annual budgets, regular variance reports highlighting deviations; analyzing and making recommendations regarding new ventures/projects/investments etc.
